Your reputation travels with every project.
The glazing package is one of the most visible elements, and one of the places where details matter most. We have built our process around making sure the glazing package does what you need it to do.
Our survey is not a formality. We measure the structural opening, check tolerances, and confirm fixing points. If something needs to change before we can proceed, we tell the contractor directly. You do not need to chase.
Core Cortizo profiles in black and anthracite are on our racks in Dorset.
We are not waiting on international shipping. When we say three to four weeks, we mean it.
The team that surveys is the team that manufactures and installs. No hand-offs between departments.
If there is an issue, they fix it, because it is their work.
We are used to being part of a team. We liaise directly with your contractor on site preparation, access, and timing. We keep you copied on progress. And if the programme shifts, we do what we can to flex.
For larger packages with multiple openings and windows alongside sliders, we can provide a consolidated quote and coordinate delivery to suit the build sequence.
If you are at concept stage and want to check feasibility or budget, we are happy to look at drawings and give you an informal steer. No commitment required.
Visit our Dorset workshop to see your doors made, and talk through details with the family team.
Three to four weeks for standard residential projects. We hold core Cortizo profiles in stock and work with a long-term UK glass partner, so we can be honest about timings from day one. Larger packages with multiple systems may need six weeks to ensure everything arrives together.
We can work to tighter deadlines when needed. Because we stock profiles rather than ordering them from Spain per project, we avoid the 4-5 week international lead time that adds risk to most glazing packages.
Yes. When the structural opening is ready, we carry out a detailed measured survey and take ownership of the dimensions. This removes uncertainty for homeowners and de-risks the glazing package for the project team.
The base needs to be 55mm below finished floor level, level, and solid (typically concrete infill where cavity walls meet the threshold). We provide a preparation guide after survey that shows exactly what's required, including fixing points and drainage routes.
The track is recessed into the floor with internal drainage channels that discharge to the external face. Water collects in the client's threshold drain (ACO or similar). We provide section drawings showing how this interfaces with the building.
Cortizo spec sheets state 2.5m wide by 3m tall, but we use thicker structural glass which allows us to go larger. We've installed panels up to 3.3m wide and 3.9m tall. Individual panels over 6.5m² or exceeding 3m height typically need additional equipment (HIABs, glazing robots).
We provide CAD and DXF files showing typical 2-panel and 3-panel configurations. These aren't full BIM objects but they're sufficient for coordination and working drawings.
Certified at 1.3 W/m²K with standard double glazing and Cortizo profiles. We can get close to 1.0 W/m²K using high-performance glass options (price on application).
Yes. All aluminium is marine-grade powder coated and the systems are designed for exposed locations. That said, Cor Vision isn't recommended for upper-level installations in very exposed sites—standard glazing with deeper frames would be more appropriate there.
